Kid's Workshop: More Than Just A Play Place

Whenever we go to the mall, my kids would always ask to play in those play place. My husband and I leave the kids there to play for about an hour with their yayas looking over them from the outside of the play area. Aside from the fact that the kids really enjoy burning their energy by playing, it is also a chance for me and my husband to go around the mall by ourselves without the super kulit kids asking to go to the toy store every 2 minutes. So, when I received 2 free passes for my kids at the Kid’s Workshop, I showed the photos of the place on the internet to my kids and they got super excited! We decided to schedule it on September 8 because that was also Marko’s 4th birthday.

We went to Kid’s Workshop on a Monday afternoon and since it was a Monday, there were just few kids playing. We also decided to let Javi play inside with his kuyas so we just paid an additional P410 for unlimited play time. Yup, you can already let your 1 yr olds play inside as long as he or she is accompanied by an adult. What I love most about Kid’s Workshop is that the adult can go inside without any additional charge! They just need to wear socks, just like the other kids inside. This is the only play place that I know that does not charge the kids’ companions! I know of a play place where the entrance fee of the adult is the same as that of the child, so it can be quite expensive if you have 3 kids with 3 yayas.

Kid’s Workshop is also unlike other play places where children are left to play on their own or to navigate on their own. It’s not just a play place but as the name implies, it is a workshop where the kids can learn, explore, sing, dance and do art and crafts and interact with other kids. The activity area includes a rock climbing ramp, a rope ladder, a winding slide (which Javi really enjoyed) and a straight slide, monkey bars, a swaying bridge, rocking horses, and cars! They can also pretend to cook in the kitchen area. Toddlers have their own special place where they can swim in balls, crawl through a caterpillar tunnel and play inside their very own little house. Bookworms can curl up & discover more by reading lots of books.  Future architects and engineers can build bridges and skyscrapers.  Children can also watch their favourite DVDs, play games on the PlayStations and dance to their favourite tune using the Wii. Kid’s Workshop also has teachers and play monitors who teach sharing, packing away, following instructions, etc.

When your kids get hungry and thirsty, no worries, because they also offer yummy snacks for your hungry kids! They have a lounge outside the play area with small tables and chairs where the kids can sit and eat their snacks.

Kids Workshop Admission Rates:
Unlimited Play : P410

They also accept bookings for parties! How awesome, right? So, if you're thinking of where to spend your child's birthday, you may consider celebrating it at Kid's Workshop.
