QualiMed Holds Mommy Bloggers' Event in Manila

2014. QualiMed partners with mommy bloggers to provide them an experience of the health network’s brand of revolutionary healthcare delivery and capabilities, with focus on caring for women and children.

QualiMed is a network of healthcare facilities owned and operated by Mercado General Hospital, Inc (MGHI) in partnership with Ayala Land, Inc (ALI). The healthcare facilities of QualiMed are intended to cater to the needs of the broad C market, with the brand promise of “Alagang Abot-Kaya”.  It is devoted to fulfilling a commitment to 3As – Accessibility (ease of financial and physical access), Affordability (price predictability and competitiveness), and Appropriateness (quality service and genuine care).

President and CEO of MGHI Dr. Edwin M. Mercado explained to us that they want to be able to provide Filipinos the best health care facilities at a price 30% to 40% compare to other hospitals. We got a tour of the QualiMed facilities and I was very impressed. Whatever you expect to find in an expensive healthcare facility such as CT scans, MRI’s, Gamma Camera, Rehab clinics, etc, they have it here. The only difference is their more affordable price.

 

QualiMed also focuses on appropriateness and quality care. Health care with QualiMed is provided only by a competent medical team. They are guided by the clinical practice guidelines to make sure that over indication of treatments, tests, etc does not happen. They also have a salaried concept here so patients won’t have to worry about unpredictable professional fees.  

You also don’t have to worry about going there only to find out that the doctor is on break or is on leave. QualiMed is service oriented, so there will always be a specialized doctor on duty anytime of the day from opening till closing.
